why is it necessary to give finger print and my adhar.. As If one ID is not essential then you will start finger print even for flights, and trains.
The only thing that will be worth is our index finger and if one loses it he is gone.

Aadhaar linking

Further to already expressed,it is to brought to information of readers that Not only they are unable to link Aadhaar, they are taking liberty to de-link Aadhaar which has already been linked by authorities. This act is strongly
condemnable. It is necessary for banks to set there systems in order and correct there wrong doings in the past or faults / shortcomings of software employed in CBS working at all branches through out the country.

Aadhaar no. linking with bank accounts
by VK Aggarwal on Nov 03, 2017 08:39 PM

Firstly whether demand of Aadhaar by banks is not clear as to it validity of demand. They are sending regular messages for immediate linking. Against that they don't have there systems set in and unable to link aadhaar with accounts of customers. They have yet to set in but on receipt of aadhaar they are rejecting for frivolous reasons like difference in Aadhaar as if it's bogus to there understanding causing mental agony for customers. Some are saying, one Aadhaar would be linked to one account only and for other account one has to obtain another Aadhaar no. ignoring the fact that one person can obtain only one Aadhaar and not more than one as per policy and basic purpose of Aadhaar. All such pleas are cause great harassment to customers i.e. public at large and restraint on such activities and practices is essential by a notification to save public from difficulties and saving wastage of time otherwise banks 7 telcos have got freedom to harass public with the backing of GOI.

Aadhaar linking

Pending SC decision on the issue, banks have already taken aadhaar particulars forcibly from the customers with the threat that accounts will not be allowed to operate unless linked with Aadhar. Now, telecom companies are resorting to the same tactics. If this is the case, what is the sanctity of SC in deciding on the issue? Further, in case SC disapproves linking of Aadhar, will the banks and telecom companies undo the damage already done and ensure security of account-data available with them? Aadhaar linking is a clear case of jumping the gun by banks and telecom companies at the behest of central government without bothering about the risk of data theft and misuse as well as threat to bank balances.

Linking Aadhar is OK for mobiles as initially Tel companies to get market share haphazardly issued thru petty shops with no authenticated proof. Further they I remember, during early 2000 just came to offices and delivered.

In banking sector all accounts used to be opened with residential proof with an introduction. Of course many might have opened multiple accounts with so many banks then. However after introduction of CBS during 2005 it was restricted.
