Wonderful piece of information. That is the reason why he is sustaining even after loss of 100 assembly elections repeatedly in the last 10 years. It is a wake up call for his opponents to be more careful in future also to defeat him / his party, not the original Congress Party of Gandhi, Patel etc.

Old days , political parties used to parade movie stars ahead of polls for attracting crowds. Our fellow citizens used to crowd like herd of sheep or goats at any political function attended by movie stars. And the netaji used to give lamba bhashan and pick peoples' brains.
Fast forward a generation and political parties used to field movie stars in elections. This is one step ahead in the direction of fantasy ( which we in India slaves to - we live in fantasy world). That's the era when like the Hemamalini, Amitab , Shotgun Sinha, Late MGR, Late NTR, Late Jayalaitha and even people like Nagma entered our assemblies and parliament ( to make laws for this country).
Advent of high tech communications meant that people do not live in the fantasy world any more. Information is accessible to the every one. Suddenly there is an explosion of information , entertainment and media. So people are not interested in starlets any more ( Koi ghass bhi nahin dalte aaj kal).
So , next up campaign managers who buy media space and implant carefully designed content about a person to boost his or her image. Surreptitious propaganda ( like they have done for YSR Jagan party in AP and were caught off guard for recycling the campaign content - cut , copy paste content) and media blitz. SO here is an example to the contemporary election strategy of political parties of this country.
