The party that rules specifies what to be done and that the same should be brought into action by the
government officials and the staffs and employees.

But acutally majority of the officials and the employees are not willing to take the initiative; leave alone risk, commitment and bold steps.

According to media reports, Telangana chief took special measures to repair nearly 10,000 village tanks before summers. No wonder it's a surplus state in south India. The southern states and their policy makers must look at Israel to realize how to make the best of cyclical climate changes. El Nino isn't to blame for everything.

now the dams should be emptied and all the water in the dams should be fully used so that rainwater of the coming monsoons can be stored in them otherwise after drought we will be seeing the floods

Yeah agree.. dam and storage cleaning should be taken up on priority to increase the catchment volume.

Sir,
Rainfall is predicted. But its not possible to predict it in the catchment of a reservoir; so that the reservoir can be emptied. Almost all reservoirs supply drinking water to nearby urban areas; hence the situation is not as simple as it seems....
