Chartered Accountants are now seen associated with all the cases involving hoarding of demonetized notes, benamai transactions, conversion of black into white, advising on routing etc which are against the national interest. They are most welcome to advise clients on tax planning and not tax evasion and conversions. Because of such elements who are greedy of power and position the entire fraternity is looked with suspicion and contempt. The CA institute should send an advisory to the entire community to uphold the professional pride associated with the profession
