that instead of stone pelter , Arundhati would have been tied with the jeep. She deserve such type of respect from Indian society whom she draw in bad light in her pages. She is a frustrated lady , failed to achieve what ever she desired and it caused frustration in her whole life, now spreading lies about Indian society through her fiction and feeling a false sense of satisfaction. A real frustrated Soul not friendly to Indian society.
Arundhati Roy is spitting venom against India and supporting Kashmiri separatists. In fact she is supporting the violence in the valley. If Paresh Rawal has tweeted about her tying to Army Jeep there are many more so called nationalist who should be tied to Army Jeep for inciting violence.
Even if I concede that Mr Paresh Rawal's comment are harsh the fact is Arundhati's views on Kashmir is even more harsh and hurts the common Indian. Her view are anti India and is misinformed. She should be happy that getting tied on a jeep is better than undergoing Pak justice (had she spoken ill of Pakistan). The example of Sarabjit and Kulbhushan Jhadav are in front of you.
