Tha author is right in saying that many of the so-called reforms are insincere because grandiose, and serve the hidden purpose of showing one person fifty-six times bigger than he really is.
If the author had also commented on the religious changes, where state no more wants to be separated from religion, we would clearly see how we as a nation are getting dragged back, and are becoming as bad as some others whom we criticise.
Unfortunately, all this does not auger well for my nation, though the loud and the hawkish do not and will not see it. Sad!
