Even now it is not too late Modiji, to realise that your dinner diplomacy towards Pakistan and China has failed.

Japan is much closer to India
by aam admi on May 18, 2017 12:24 PM

China and Japan are rivals and they will not mind to bully each other but India and Japan has come closer after expansionism policy of China on board. Of course India and Japan may have different tactics to pressurise China but both distrust China.

Not correct
by on May 17, 2017 08:09 PM

The author says that Japan has $ 8 trillion of funds, seems an exaggerated figure, because Japan's GDP is just $ 4.0 trillion. India isolated by its OBOR absence, where even USA, Japan,UK,ROK,EU sent official delegations to attend the summit, is doing a damage exercise. The Japanese PM through his representative for the summit, requested the Chinese President for a meeting in July 2017, thus it appears that the two countries are trying to patch up, looking to Trump's eccentrics. Politics has no permanent enemies or friends.

Answer to OBOR
by Vijay Sahani on May 17, 2017 04:25 PM  | Hide replies

Answer to China's OBOR should be for India, Malaysia, Vietnam, S Korea, Japan, USA, UK, France and Afghanistan to form a confederation of "One World One Confederation". If Iran can be roped in, nothing like it.

It should have economic progress as a common goal, a bank on the lines of NDB Bank and other such measures which will compete with OBOR. Let countries decide whether they want to join OBOR or OWOC.

Give the world an option to choose.

If you can't join OBOR, make a bigger OWOC.

India neither need nor will try tobe lead in that first of all. considering themselves as lead will become cause for their fall sooner or later with regard to obor.

China will wipe India out as they have the military & financial muscle to bulldoze us. We are like stormtroopers who fire one day & are silent for the 1 year. This is a sustained game & has to be played with determination & dedication. The policies have to consistent not somebody as fickle minded as the current PM.
