I dont think NK is capable of this attack, earlier also they were blamed for some cuber threats but all turned out to be hoaxes. I think Microsoft is behind this to make more money.

North Korea Pakistan China are using sophisticated nuclear threats. I hope that extortions are always happening with ISIS Somalia etc. Applications are making one to pay and payment mechanisms become machines language systems.

Though the recent worldwide Ransomware attack was ostensibly for money, it has serious and terrifying strategic ramifications. What if our defence forces computers were similarly attacked and paralysed? What is wrong commands were given to those computers making them release missiles at our enemies which would inevitably invite a counter-attack? India with its huge IT force cannot develop a firewall protection which would stop such attacks? Govt. of India must think and provide such a protection to the entire nation so that any computer inside India, whether Govt. or private, would be protected .

Undoubtedly by MS. They know people are still using Win XP and not buying the latest Win as they want it to happen. Just add the points.

The tools were hacked from National Intelligence Agency, USA some time back. I doubt if NK has the sophistication to carry out these attacks. Remember the Sony Hacking incident? NK was blamed and nothing conclusive was found against them.
