Justice came too late
by Dr M K Saha on May 06, 2017 10:11 AM

Justice is certainly the appropriate one but it took five long years. It's a shame indeed. Had this crime been committed in any developed country the court decision would have come years back.
Something should be done to expedite the legal process and legal procedures in such heinous crimes should be completed within a fixed time frame, say Six months and not more.
My appeal the most dynamic Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi and The Honorable Chief Justice of India to please look into it now.

They desrve to be hanged in broad day light in front of public
by sri on May 06, 2017 09:01 AM

president should say he is not going to entertain their mercy petitions today itself. If they hang them in public view at the same place where the crime was committed it will be justice to Nirbhaya.

Nirbhaya case

The death penalty should be implemented at the earliest.
The process of appealing to the President of India should be abolished--- does it mean that he is superior to the judiciary ?

Though late a correct judgement.
such people who cannot be included even as animals should be punished like this.
No mercy petition should be entertained at any cost

Then only it will be meaningful judgement.
Now the victims soul may rest in peace.

you are right.many a time criminals have very strong and powerful backup in terms of money and political backdrop. They just dont let FIR to be filed, bribe govt machinery including police and thus deprived the poor from getting the Justice.
