wanting badly to eat beef, yet not getting an opportunity for it in the open defecators land (north India) ought to come to Kerala ! He would get a range of lip smacking beef dishes to choose from in a range of restaurants that always are way cleaner than restaurants in North India !
And better still, the stench of excreta will never assail his nostrils in any public place in Kerala unlike in North India !
And he can also rest assured that unlike in North India, no one here will show the faintest interest in finding out what he is eating !

This Author is known for his non sense columns for paid services. Each state has his own local issues. But one thing clear is Congress is losing heavily Pan India which he should understand and stop writing such rubbish things....

Whether BJP wins or loses, what difference does it make for India ? I guess nothing.
Its a party of non-performers when we see the pathetic condition of MCD and BMC. It has been under the control of this very party for over a decade now and just ask the people who are real sufferers in these cities.
The tall claim is that this party is only for development and if that is to be believed, then why people of Mumbai and Delhi are still even longing for drinking water ? Just check the pathetic condition of cleanliness, drainage system (when one drizzle comes, people would come to know), etc. etc.
And they shift all blames to one and sundry for their failure and mismanagement. And the people continue to get trapped in their tall promises (and no result)

I do not know about Orissa, But if you are itching to eat beef, come to Kerala ! You will get a range of lip smacking beef dishes!
And if you prefer, you can visit high end restaurants run by hindus to eat them !
Further, if you want the company of upper caste hindus to eat beef, that too can be so easily arranged !
And you can rest assured that unlike in North India, no one here will show the faintest interest in finding out what you are eating !

The gap between North India (where between 65 and 75 % of the entire population defecates in the open as per the Census survey, depending on the state) and Kerala (where just 1.4 % - mostly migrant workers- do it) in this matter is now so huge that only the dumbest among dunces will take it lightly !

I don't know why Rediff allows such people to write without proper research. As said rightly, oriya people will kill anyone who suggests they eat beef. It is the highest level of sacrilege for them. Yes, brahmins do eat fish and goat meat more as compared to chicken, and egg, and never ever beef.
