Pradip Datta
Akhilesh and his ego
by Pradip Datta on Mar 31, 2017 01:43 PM

A loser has always something to say. Introspection or self evaluation is something the Political parties has to learn. One should never under estimate the voters saying they are not smart. Mr Akhilesh may have made highways but quarrelling with his father is also one of the reason of his loss. And then the gath-bandhan with Congress was a very poor decision. The wooing of Muslim voters by the Political parties will bring ISIS in India.

Indian voter is not Smart !!!
by Navneet Bhatnagar on Mar 30, 2017 02:58 PM  | Hide replies

Yes, Akhilesh Yadav and the writer of this post are right. Indian Voter is definitely NOT smart. If they would have been smart and intelligent, then they would not have brought forth the same set of rotten politicians back to power after every five years. They would have been able to see , how their fortunes remained the same during these 70 years, but how the wealth of the politicians increases manifold, just after one term in any government.

Countries, which are much smaller than India, whether in terms of area, manpower or resources, have gone way beyond it , in development and prosperity and we Indians, have been caught in a vicious cycle of stagnation and decay.

Yes, if the Indian voter would have been smart, the caste politics , as practiced by SP and BSP, would have been rejected at the first instance. Even the h appeasement policy or loot syndrome seen in Congress stalwarts, would have been stopped long time back.

Now , after the old menace has been controlled in some manner and the scrupulous politicians, stopped in their track, they are crying wolf!

So you mean to say BJP is clean? Working for the betterment of the country? Will develop the nation? Will stop self and external corruption? Will do something good and for the betterment of the common man?......are you into comedies or do seriously have such weird thoughts? DOn't jump to conclusions....I am no Cong or SP or any particular party cadre or supporter....I am one of the 100 crore population of the country who can say with utter conviction that our own Indian leaders have screwed and looted us much more than the foreign invadors....the politicians have only robbed us and given nothing back...and BJP is no different!! They are equally and in some cases even more blood suckers!! I'm sorry but I have my brains in the right place and I cannot be a mindless, senseless and blind bhakt!!

Is that the reason why they voted the same corrupt govt at least 12 times in 70 years? Narrow minded illogical discussions and focussing on least important issues of the country while ignoring the most important aspect, education is the cause behind under development of the country. Nowadays, it has become a fashion to propagate half truths and going tangential when right questions are asked. With absolute majority and drastic fall in oil prices must help the current govt to do its best without any doubt.

Un-smart voters
by Umacharan Panigrahi on Mar 30, 2017 11:41 AM

Unfortunate but true that the general public remained illiterate and uninformed following our attaining premature 'freedom without fight', most lived with colonial slavish mentality and duly exploited by dynastic/selfish/amoral/criminal/celebrity/elite leaders.
If at all that barrier was broken decisively by common voters is in this UP election which can be a harbinger of change for future things to come.
