More important than the legislation,we need to ensure how mentally ill patients are treated at Hospitals and even at their homes.A sea change in attitude is required.Most importantly,prevention is better than cure.If everyone understands this,then we can reduce the occurrence of mental illness to just a fraction of the existing and also cure the really ill patients very easily.

I feel he is most qualified to speak on the subject. His personal life is a disaster. I only feel bad if he is alluding to late Sunada Pushkar. She is not there to defend herself. Nevertheless give credit to him for passionately supporting the bill and not being the "usual type" of - opposing for the sake of opposing.
