I THINK GOVT HAS WOKEN UP TO THIS CULT OF 'FAKE' MOBILE NUMBERS AND THE THREAT IT POSES TO NATIONAL SECURITY. GOVT HOULD MAKE IT"MANDATORY" FOR LINKING ALL MOBILE NUMBERS TO AADHAR. THERE SHOULD BE NO EXTENSION AND GOVT SHOULD NOTIFY THAT ALL THOSE MOBILE NUMBERS NOT CONNECTED TO AADHAR AFTER THE DATE WILL BE "EXTINGUISHED". PLUS, GOVT SHOULD ALSO INSIST LINKING THE CURRENT SUBCRIBERS WITH THEIR MOBILE NUMBERS BY TAKING A " PRINT" OF THEIR FINGERPRINTS, THE SAME WAY, JIO HAS DONE...!!!...( People with multiple numbers should link their "fingerprint" with each sim card held by them. )
Let us hope Adhar will be last card to be issued by government. There are several card circulating Adhar, voting card, Ration card, Pan card, Driving license, company Id card etc. No organization accept Adhar as proof identification. Even for opening bank card, Banks are not accepting. They made pan card compulsory. So what is the use of multiple card. These are all waste of time for the people.

Pseudo you are touched in the head & genetically defective. Why do you comment with your half baked knowledge & expose your ignorance? Sirisha is talking about multiple identifications & you are drawing an analogy between different transport systems. Multiplicity of identifications makes it cumbersome for governing authorities & individuals per se. The problem is every time you use a different service you produce a different identification. That is why this system needs consolidation & finalization.
Supreme court says Aadhar is not mandatory. But linking it to everything else makes it automatically mandatory - like Mao Zedang making cat lick its tail! There is no problem if Aadhar is one of the several proofs. But why only Aadhar?

If aadhaaar is used in right way it will help avoid middle men in schemes. Now you can call it aadhaaar it gaaadaar or anything you want but a unique identity to identify people

Good development. But there should not be no limit to have more than one sim by one individual since many individuals having multiple sim cards to meet their family members need.
