Yes. I agree with the Vice President.It must be free of all political activities and thinking also.Students are not there for politicking.They are there for studies.First complete studies with absolute freedom and emerge as outstanding citizens and then form a political opinion and ideology but not within the precincts of the University.Then peace and tranquility will prevail.Also in the name of freedom any anti national activity must be dealt with forcefully and contained without regards to whether they are students or teachers.Prime objective is study or research.Can the Vice-President use his good offices and the wisdom for meeting the above purposes.The public opinion matters as the financing of central universities are done with the Tax paid by the citizens.This aspect should not be forgotten.
Yes.Ansari could be right that we need to preserve free thinking,but that free thinking can not be anti India,anti Hindu pro pak ,slogans in Hindu majority country ,just because Hindus are tolerant.The same free thinker did nothing where kashmiri pundits were thrown out of their home land.People who donot act against those Islamic terrorists have no right to talk of secularism and all associated romantic words while on ground trampling Hindus in their own country
