Glad to hear Ajit Doval will visit USA. It is important to make friends in the new (Trump) administration although there does not seem to be any continuity in bilateral relations there. After a period of bonhomie with the Obama Aaministration ties have been luke warm. The post of NSA is a very important one. I am not sure Doval has the background for this post. His vision is blinkered as would be of an ex policeman even an outstanding one. Perhaps at this point our PM thought it expedient to have him, as much morass needs to be removed in the country.
