SECULARISM , never prevailed in India. It is ruthlessly ill-defined by a bunch of paid-lawyers from 1950 & by a section rogue and disgruntled politicians.
Don't worry my dear friend, nothing will change, except so called secularist politics of appeasement of particular section. It will be inclusive politics for all those who would like to come in fold.
but started appeasing your so called Secular friends by this article. By accusing him for cases which were imposed on him by political opponent who were ruling , now they were giggling in Oath taking party of the same person. Further he was once attacked by hundreds of organised gang who wanted to finish him , this happened in 2008 , near Azamgarh, if I am correct. and another incident when he was humiliated and insulted in UP Thana during SP rule. In your eyes they were respectable and secular in whose time business of kidnapping was patronised by political rulers in UP.

There was no word called “Secular” in Indian Constitution. Since Hindus were living & following in most liberal, tolerant & democratic way of life for thousands years, secular word was not uttered anywhere. “Secular” word implemented in Fundamental rights in the 42nd Amendment of the constitution enacted in 1976 to play with Mulim vote bank politics & added in the Indian constitution. Same as, Communists party & leader Joyti Bose given permission to play with Sword over Hindus head during Muharram, which was banned by Britishes long ago.
