The previous governments of India and UP were infact polarizing the people by appeasing the minorities. Every citizen has to get their equal right,
whatever their caste or religion may be. At least now the Congress, SP and BSP should understand their mistake as the people were fed up with their divisive politics. BJP is not into appeasement of any one category of people but their leaders have time and again said that they are working towards the development of all and acting on it as well. CM Yogi is CM for all of UP and its people and is definitely leading UP towards Uttam Pradesh. If earlier he has said somethings it is only because of reaction to polarizing things said by others. But now he is past that, so people should stop criticizing and start supporting for a better UP and a better India.

The Yogi CM cannot be called a secular personality because of the fiery speeches of hatred he has been giving all his life against Muslim and other minorities. I think Modi has done this mischief quite deliberately, and people may soon realize that just like the notebandi, this was a foolish decision.

The Yogi is a very good Hindu and undoubtedly a core secularist. There would not be any akwardlooking appeasements of casts and communities anymore. To display ones secularism Yogi neednot go and hug Shbir Shah and Geelani like Manishankar Iyyer does. Good days have heralded in UP for all.

by MS Vasan on Mar 21, 2017 11:15 AM  | Hide replies

What is not secularism..?
1.Discussion of religion and minority in public is NOT secularism.
2.Minority appeasement is NOT secularism.
3.Political parties in the name of religion is NOT secularism.
4.Majority must give everything to minority is NOT secularism.

What is Secularism?
1.Not bring in religion into Govt is Secularism.
2.No bias or favour in governance based on religion is Secularism.
3.No discussion of religion in public is secularism.

Keep religion inside your home and prayer places. Dont wash dirty religious debate in the media and public under the garb of secularism.

Dear MSV..very few takers for your wise views..it appears the whole tug of war uses secularism as a weapon with self styled definition of it....The whole gambit is to grab power..create majority fear..then divide hindues with a wedge of caseism.. grab power..

Nor a Hindu or Christian or Sikh or any other religion vote bank ! Soon we human beings find faults with our heroes, because nobody can remain at the top for ever through maneuvers, manipulations, machinations, money etc. And that is indeed good as others also should get opportunities.
