rediff has to be kicked out of India. Its propogating anti India sentiments & giving platform to all antinationals and antisocials in the name of journalism. Syed Firdaus is the biggest of them all with a anti India and antiHindu agenda

Modi will behave like Trump
by on Mar 17, 2017 10:33 AM  | Hide replies

Let this person live with this fear. Why he want to inject these sort of fear in the minds of public. He has some ulterior motives. Such articles are just rubbish. Before the Lok Sabha elections many intellectuals predicted many things. Some of them even wrote to US to deny visa for Mr. Modi. Then what happened. We should not open an umbrella thinking that the sky is going to fall on the head.

Look within Mr Ilaiah !
by Sunil Dabadghao on Mar 17, 2017 09:14 AM

If Mr Ilaiah is morried about the growing popularity of Mr Modi, most educated Indians are worried about the role the teachers of Humnanities and Languages are playing in many Central universities. They are inciting caste and class hatred amongst students. They want to keep society divided. In fact Mr Ilaiah should be worried about the irrelevance of Dalit politics in india . BSP is decimated and the Republican Party(ies) in maharashtra have no political punch. Infact many of these supposedly intellectual people like Mr Ilaiah, want to keep the caste issue alive as they have no identity beyond their caste. That is the reason probably, why Mr Ilaiah has added Shepherd as his surname. Being an intellectual lightweight he wants to highlight his caste to gain some relevance.

The writer says

that Modi is ideologically shifting from being pro business to pro poor !

Yes indeed, at least for the sake of that all important victory in 2019, komaaaaali Modi appears to be beginning to junk his pro croxny capitalist leanings and shifting to being pro commoners !

Just today, his govt has announced a target of 2.5 % of GDP for public healthcare investment !!

Vow !

If this announcement is followed up in earnest by framing policies and implementing them, it would indeed be one big leap across the ideological spectrum to the other end from the komaaaaali considering whatever he has done so far as CM of Gujarat and PM of India !!!

The first parallel that comes to mind is how the equally pro croxny capitalist Congress led UPA shifted stance in a big way by conceiving, drafting and implementing the MNREGS job guarantee scheme in the late 2000s in preparation for the 2009 LS election !
