when you can not digest the ground reality and mandate of the people, such kind of articles & interviews are thrown into the media. but people in general understand these, thats why they voted out Congress.

we understand the mandate, when there was 6 ministers and their chief is ousted, no one must be confused.
No big deal. Every party try to form government. Why to raise question against bjp. It looks like some one is getting bigger and people started talking bad about.
It is all about opportunity, and politics of today cannot be isolated from it. After all, we have to agree that these political parties are not meant for charity work, someway they have to perform and logically convince the voter to have done the work within the limitation of political party. The voters understand as much as the politicians do and are very accommodative to one another. Therefore, crying a foul over this party seizing the opportunity, and referring to ethics have forgotten their ill-gotten past. It will always haunt and pay dividends according to your past deeds.

The same argument can be applied to congress also right .. The people of Goa did not give them majority because they dont want them in power . Ie they voted for you because they dont want to vote for BJP or Congress .. So how can you join with Congress either if it is against people mandate . Then president rule should be there ..

He is saying that in case of fractured mandate, Governor should call the single largest party first. This is also what the Constitution bench of SC has laid down in various judgements, as Fali Nariman has opined.

But precedence does not support what you say. Right across India on several occasions one has seen post poll alliances and the single largest party not being called to form the government. Remember HD Deve Gowda, IK Gujral, Chandrashkhar - they were all PMs with miniscule seats on their own

All these were challenged in the SC and the 5 bench and 9 bench Constitution bench of SC laid down the principle that in case of fractured mandate the Governor should call the single largest party first. Read Fali Nariman's views in today's Indian Express. Also read the editorial of Indian express to update your knowledge.
It's unfortunate that the SC has overlooked it's own Constitution bench verdicts of past.

Mr Chaitanya, Manohar Parrikar has already become CM of Goa. If Congress or other party want to contest the decision of Hon. Supreme Court, they may file review petition before the Apex court. The Court has confirm the decision of the Governor of Goa. The Congress party has to blame themselves as they were sleeping and could not muster the required support in time.

There are very few examples of getting evidence of support from the elected members of assembly by the party and produce them before the Governor to claim formation of government. Congress as usual being the party with highest winning contestants expected Governor to invite them and get time to prove their majority in the house by horse trading as per their usual practice in the past but BJP acted very smart to see that they dont get chance to play their game.

Manipur , Biren Singh Took Oath As CM..Jai ho..Congrates to Citizens of Manipur and All Nationalists..3rd Lotus in N. East..
Its unfortunate tat my Goa will not see a full term govt..since the goan voter have rejected BJP (the reason is parrikar) n now since Parrikar is again leading tem(courtesy mathematics),Parrikar will try to win majority for bjp again and tat too very soon..every one knows tat wit the UP results ,Modi has all the chance of reaming in power in 2019..So parrikar ,as cunning he is,will dissolve tis assembly just b4 the general elections and seek a fresh mandate from Goans in 2019..And chances are at tat time it will be BJP in absolute majority in Goa too ,rirding on Modi wave again...Tats the game n tats why Parrikar has has quitely n unconditionally acceted the support of MGP n GF...just wait n watch

BJP LOST THE MANDATE BUT CONGRESS ALSO COULD NOT GET IT. BJP GOT SUPPORT FROM OTHER ELECTED MLAs SUBMITTED DEMAND FOR FORMATION OF GOVT. CONGRESS SHOULD HAVE MOVED FAST. THEY HAD TO OBTAIN SUPPORT ONLY FROM 4 OTHER MLAs. IT WAS EASIER FOR THEM. BUT THEY SLEPT OVER NIGHT WHEN BJP LEADERS WORKED THROUGHOUT NIGHT & ARRANGED TO BRING SUPPORT OF 8 MLAs. THERE IS NO HARD & FAST RULE TO CALL PARTY HAVING MORE MLAs. SUPREME COURT ALSO RULED THIS IN FAVOUR OF BJP AGAINST A CASE FILED BY CONGRESS IN THE MATTER. THE MAN WHO SLEEPS HIS FORTUNE ALSO SLEEPS.

not "available on rediff" but "available ONLY on rediff." to show that rediff is neutral and level-headed, it should also interview either of the legislators who have decided to support BJP.

REDIFF is anti Indian that always prefers anti-national/anti-Govt articles.
In fact, Goa people didn't given clear mandate to any party. In this scenario, first come-first service is appropriate. Honorable Supprime Cort also rejected the case of Mr. Dogi Singh. Congress not yet even finalised their leader in Goa.

Than why the people did not vote accordingly? It is true that the majority of people did not vote them to form the government.
