The sad truth is there is not one SINGLE country in the world which is democratic. The very nature of the religion is to get segregated in any country. And in India, this segregating nature has been aided and abetted by the congress in the last 70 years. Now, muslims have to blame themselves for this pathetic situation. I believe that they will prosper the day they stop thinking themselves as "minorities" and merge with other citizens. What they need is education and health. That is all.
India is one of the best countries in world for muslims and it would be foolish to say that minorities are suppressed here. Bit still there is growing perception in masses that Muslims are terrorists and they are traitors. It is true that level of extremism is more in Muslims than in Hindus but the real fight should not be against Muslims or Hindus but against any kind of extremism. As far as it is conncerned with Muslims we need to get more education to seperate us from extremists.
Muslims are better off and richer than many sections of society is south India;the comparative poor level of education of their girl children was their religiosity guided chosen steps.In 1956 no girl of the second largest religious community from my class came to High School but my boy friends came.Gradually that too changed.We should not rewrite history to our requirement.We had foreign rule for long be it from the Ruler of Samarkund or from the ruler of London. I have no doubt that 2002 riots in Gujrat were the creation of Kongy party to capture Gujrat as they knew If \"NAMO Ji\" C.M from the lower strata will change the history if he is allowed to rule.But above all even today educated muslims does\'t accept the ground realities & hate \"NAMO Ji\" in all platforms which is unacceptable in a democratic country for majority masses. As far tickets to Muslim were concerned had they be given their chances of winning were least specially where Maya\'s.Ahkelesh candidates were already in fray.Need of the hour is to give them modern education & bring them out from the clutches of their Maulvi\'s & Kaziji\'s who are themselves fanatics.
