Main reason of debacle is SP & BSP didn't joined hands. Had there been grand alliance of SP&INC&BSP, there'd have been straight fight with BJP and BJP would have lost greatly like in Bihar. All anti BJP votes got divided which paved the way for BJP. As many as more than 200 seats BJP bagged purely due to vote division between SP & BSP. That means total of SP & BSP candidates is much higher than the votes of BJP candidate in the constituency. Then how can it be Modi wave????? Lets hope these parties will learn a lesson & come together for 2019 Loksabha elections. This is the only way out for both SP & BSP if they want to save their place & position.

Mr True speaker, try this SP-CONG-BSP combination this time. Last time SP and CONG combination and it spoilt it. This kichadi combination with no ideological issues could lost a few months even if they win..After a few months it is BJP..Let you see whether BJP sdupport base is increasing or not by each election...Congress is now in the fringes.. Every other opposition party is in dissary.. It is Modi versus the rest Match would be interesting..Gut feeling is that it is all the way Modi however much you try to stophim.. He has already emerged and no looking back. He sits on the platform of an excellent performace, honesty, simplicity and India first attitude, which is impossible to beat...People shall endorse him ...

The total UP wallas have proved that they are very smart and can not be taken for granted. Particularly , Muslims , have realized that they ar taken for granted , being used and left to rot . They also carry the ignominy of being doubted as unpatriotic . As such , in order to break this myth and to live in peace and with dignity and also giving a green flag not only for Demonetization but also for strategic strikes in Pak . They also threw out obscurantist attitude of Congress and other opposition parties .Great show by UP wallas .
This body locking of women must stop. Muslim women must be liberated and should have equal rights on par with their menfolk.
Education is the best weapon for a Muslim woman to break the strangulating hold that their clergy exert on them. No parallel law in India. One constitution should bind the entire country. Crack down on law breakers..

Oh, it is not just muxlim women who live in manacles in much of north India, is it ?
Most hyndu women, especially those from the majority poor and lower middle classes, too lead miserable lives shackled by the suffocatingly patriarchal social norms and mores imposed on them, right ?
No education, hardly any medical care worth the name, no freedom to move around beyond walking a couple of kilometres to fetch a few pots of drinking water, all the household chores, all the cares of bringing up 4 or 5 children without any help from their husbands who must toil 10 to 12 hours everyday to earn 100 or 120 rupees, often no freedom even to come to the front of their houses when there are visitors for their husbands and all of this often imposed in violent ways by extra constitutional louts going by the name of khap panchayats !!
And oh, the veil !
Most poor and lower middle class women in north India have to wear either a black veil (if they are muxlims) or one of different colours if they are hyndu, right ?
Hyndu women....muxlim women......hyndu women......muxlim women.....no difference at all in north India when it comes to exploitation, right ?

Not true..triple taalaaq exists in Muslims and not Hinduism...that itself is a major difference... whatever it is you cannot just leave a women saying 3 taalaaqs so that is a major difference not only on north India but in pan India.. people who claim to respect women do all these things..hijab is another example where in hot days also while body needs to be covered and they walk like some closed people..never ever compare these things with Hinduism. Hinduism is much more free than Islam and that is general knowledge

Triple talaaq or double talaaq, polygamy exists in both hynduism and ixlam.
As per the family health survey conducted by the Ministry of women and child welfare in 2006, the extent of polygamy in hynduism and ixlam were found to be about the same !!
Actually, hyndus slightly led muxlims (5.8 % against 5.7 % among muxlims) !
While polygamy is openly practiced among a thin minority of muxlims, it is secretly done outside the law (hyndu marriage act, 1955) among a thin minority of hyndus !
Hyndu or muxlim, within law or outside law, only a thin minority of hyndus as well as muxlims practice polygamy !
The numbers arrived at by the family health survey in 2006 match more or less exactly with those found in the census survey of 1961 (the last census when the marriage records of the population was recorded religion wise) !
And what real respect do most hyndu women of North Indian lower classes (who form the overwhelming majority of the population) enjoy that muxlim women dont ??
Both sections wallow under oppressive patriarchal norms and limits to freedom, both sections are exploited by having to carry out a disproportionate amount of work in the household and in child rearing, both sections are given scant education, both sections are given scant healthcare (resulting in very high incidences of MMR across North India), both sections suffer malnutrition (in Gujarat, komaaaali Modi famously tried in his bottomless stupxidity to explain this away by saying that Gujarati

No difference at all in the treatment meted out to hyndu or muxlim women by their menfolk and by society and in the extent of freedom enjoyed by them !!

Expenses ?
If the complaint is that expenses (upkeep) are not paid for muxlim women after they are divorced with triple talaaq, then can any one argue in the same breath that they are paid to hyndu women who are kept as second wives outside the law (the provisions of the hyndu marriage act) ?
Would there be any compulsion on hyndu men to pay expenses to the women whom he keeps as secret second wives and then discards without even a divorce (since a divorce is not required in this case) ?
