Cash seizures from the five states that voted in February-March were more than three times the amount seized during the 2012 elections in these states, despite the post-demonetisation limits on cash withdrawals.
The rise of the seizures from Rs 50.78 crore in 2012 to Rs 184.85 crore challenges the government's claim that the note recall would cleanse India of the "cancer of corruption".
Uttar Pradesh accounted for Rs 119.03 crore in cash seizures, followed by Punjab (Rs 58.02 crore), Uttarakhand (Rs 3.38 crore), Goa (Rs 2.24 crore) and Manipur (Rs 2.18 crore).

Quite simple Clement... because of DeMo, it is now simple to track the money-trail, which is leading to cash-siezures... before DeMo, tracking cash-hoarders was difficult

If Rodi wins people are already worried as even after taking the center no improvements and even after taking municipalities no washrooms and streets are full of garbage and gutters overflowing
Now if they win the states means more incidents like Vyapam and encounters like those in Gujrat and Madhya Pradesh

.....that message got clear last night in Lucknow....the operation against terrorists in the capital of Uttar-Pradesh.....and nuisance creators akhilesh-mulayam pretenbding to have no knowledge of such dangerous elemnets right under their nose....imagine if these terrorists managed to explode bombs in any crowded locality of Lucknow, UP or anywherr elese....how many people would have beeen killed.....that is why BJP is needed to check the very emergence of any fresh brood of terrorists within the Nation or allowed to enter from across the borders.

Wonder if these words would also scare this moderator ! It would be good if there is a hung Assembly. All money, power,ministers, Pariwar and every bit of strength is put in this election, which may surely have some effect. Let us see.

It is going to be a hung assembly only.If it is a single party winning means it is SP/Cong. and non eothers.,because BJP has lost confidence of the people because of demonatisation and BSP is a dead serpent,Akhilesh did a blunder with high drama with his dad and joining with Raga,as if he has no confidence in himself of winning.At the most they may scrap through or a hung assembly,with no party joining with each other.Ultimately a Presidents rule or assembly may be kept in animation for some time.
