America is given much importance as many people like this ANDHRA man lost his every thing in land of infinite opportunities so look at better options like creating jobs inside India to avoid brain drain instead of declaring note ban perfectmess

Every BE graduate think of America only and parents also bask for sending their kids to US . Not only for money but even to live comfortably where in India they have no hope , they cannot think of government job everywhere reservation . Upper cast have intelligence but there will be no jobs in India. All the resources are cornered by politicians and handful of babus in government in India . You are alien in US be careful Donot be greedy Donot try to settle there . Think for staying few years come to your motherland

Your husband has paid for the wrong policies of Obama
by Amod Karnik on Mar 01, 2017 08:40 PM  | Hide replies

Obama appeased all minorities. these Mozlems then created xenophobic tendencies in white Americans by their jihadi behaviour which has led to this killing. Obama is responsible for the loss of your Husband. I pray for his departed soul.

Too bad that most white Americans cant distinguish between muxlim and non-muxlim blacks from South Asia !

And even worse that most white Americans are unaware there are religions other than ixlam in South Asia !

Somewhat like the fact that the overwhelming majority of Indians are unaware that there are tens of different animist religions in Africa !!

If you have lived long enough in the US or have read in some detail accounts written by Indians in the US vis a vis their raxce related experiences, you will know this for a fact.

Indians and their customs, faiths, languages, etc are not remotely as conspicuous to white Americans as most Indians in India think.

Which is not surprising at all considering that Indians make up just one among the immigrant communities from more than a hundred countries in the US !

Sometimes, being inconspicuous is a blessing. Else, Indians in the US might have had more numerous and far worse raxce related experiences !

Forgive but dont forget & Move on

Precious life lost in seconds. It should not be treated as a hate crime, but simply a bar brawl that went horribly wrong, it happens all round the world and the content of the expletive used by the veteran should not be taken with contempt. But his actions should be matched with utmost punishment by Law.

Americans respect Indians that wouldn't change for the simple reason that they are decent people. It is a safe country, great country and peaceful country. Indians should not think twice about their future in USA but should always be on guard as they would be in old city, new city or metropolitan city because there are always bad people around.

Indian Americans
by piri on Mar 01, 2017 08:07 PM

are fast slipping into the *harassed minority* syndrome !

Various Ind American associations have already circulated lists of dos and donts among their members. One of the donts listed is that Indians should not talk to each other in public places in their mother tongues and must talk only in English !
