On the implementation side as usual with lots of ifs and buts it will measure poorly on 3/10. 3% is left out for the candid efforts made by big teams from both sides.

WHAT MMS DID WHEN PM 10 YEARS WHAT EVER HE SPOKE WOULD NOT HEARD BY PRESIDENT OR STAFF WHITE HOUSE GREAT MAN BY NO THING
.....Modi and Trump have established a relationship of trust and 'reliability of all critical information from and to each other on issues that concern both'....that means a great of transparency on all bilateral issues is on the way and therefore there is a greater likelihood of reaching at a win-win situation in matters like trade and commerce, H1B visas, even climate, and defence &strategy.
For managing the hug a 10/10 but for improvement in ties or other strategic partnerships a 0/10. But that was always on the cards & only to be expected.
Brahma Chellaney a strategic thinker & a foremost Indian defense expert has stated that India had asked for "hunter killer" drones but have been offered low grade Guardian drones & that too at an exorbitant cost of USD 2-3 Billion. Further the F-16 aircraft which are proposed to be manufactured in India are based on a 1960 platform with 1990 Avionics. This is clearly outdated technology which the US is trying to palm off on us. Incidentally this platform was to be discarded but Lockheed Martin the manufacturer has got a new lease of life with this contract from India though it is yet to be ratified by the Senate. The sensitive electronic parts of the F16 will still be manufactured in the US & not in India as they do not want to share that technology. And the killer in this whole argument is that Pakistan will get the modern upgraded & latest version of F-35 by 2020 while we will be saddled with an old failed war horse called F16 to showcase Make in India.

Inzzy, Whether you get the modern aircraft or the old ones it depends on the skill of the operators. The three war with Pakistan has shown who are better.

Pakistan is getting F35 only in its dreams? Pakistan is begging US to give 8 block 50 F16 while the ones being offered to be made in India is India is block 70. Please don't expose your ignorance by saying Block 70 has 1990 Avionics. Block 70 is the latest and most advanced F16 yet.
F35 for Pakistan???? hahahaha, you must be one delusional Pakistani pretending to be Indian
If you given the Modi-Trump summit 10/10', then why USA given only vigilance drone in place fighter drone... I am shocked with your number systems. If this will implemented in CBSC examination, students will score 150/100....
equipped for surveillance, reconnaisance as well as offensive action and unveiled for the first time in the Zhuhai air show in Dec 16, is assessed by several western defence experts including Janes defence weekly as the equivalent of the Guardian predator drone. More significantly, they have written that China has probably already edged ahead of the US in drone swarm technology, a game changer in the modern battle field.
The most significant observation is that the Chinese SOA drones could come at less than half the price of American ones !
India might do itself a big favour if it can use the availability of potentially superior but cheaper Chinese drones as a bargaining tool against the Americans.
