In North India, many years, up to this time we are facing the Leaders and Political parties as, "BY THE GUNDAS AND FOR THE GUNDAS". Where ever the Labour Parties rule, there we can see the real democracy that is “BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE Thank God the things will happen sooner the future. Ordinary people like us fed up of these Bloody Jute promising leaders.

Agriculture sector was neglected from past 5-6 decades in India
by tolerant india on Jun 07, 2017 06:39 PM

Agriculture is backbone of India, Govt should focus on villages to improve agriculture by implementing new initiatives. Currently, new technologies used in agriculture sector is not affordable to every formers in India. Hence Govt. should take some initiatives in the area of automation to reduce traditional agricultural methodologies. Agriculture sector was neglected from past 5-6 decades that’s the reason the situation of our farmers is like this, increasing suicide cases, crop losses etc. govt. should help formers by giving subsides and implementing new initiatives.

Why Maharashtra's farmers are upset
by susarla suryaprakasam on Jun 07, 2017 03:20 PM

Not only Maharastra, entire Indian Farmers are upset. They want free finance, subsidised seeds-fertlizers-water supply (free), no land tax etc. but prices of commodities at the highest rates in the world, so that they will vote in f/o the party in power. Farming has become such a scourge and all political scoundrels to make use of this high cost economy, it is better to internationalise the produce rates and encourage imports whenever food inflation is observed.

Loan Waiver for Farmers
by anil kumar joshi on Jun 07, 2017 09:48 AM  | Hide replies

This trend was started by CONGRESS to get votes during UPA tenure, has although given votes to Congress but has affected the health of indian public sector banks, made their NPA to grow. These politicians believe ONLY in votes for that they don't bother for the nation. Now in case of Maharashtra or MP or any states,to give some relief, they should waive of loans(crop loan, loan for seeds, fertilizers etc BUT not for TRACTOR loan. Now a days in villages, buying a TRACTOR and not re-paying the loan/EMI has become fashion/trend.They feel some government will come and waive off loan.In existing strike by farmers in Maharashtra,MP,Gujrat --the states are ruled by BJP and opposition parties are trying to create problems by instigating farmers.By seeing the footage on TV,it looks very clear that the agitators are not farmers but GOONS of some party.Even if government waives off,who will bear the brunt---we the general public by paying more local tax or Income tax.

More than Rs. 11lakh crores worth of loans to various indusrtial houses and organisations have been written off in last 3 years of Modi regime. Whose money is it Joshi Saheb? Vijay Mallya was allowed to flee from India on 2 nd March 2016, was it a coincidence that on 1 st March he met FM Jaitley in Parliament house?

ready to pay extra tax to govt to offset loss.
every body claims to be supporting farmers but in practice no one is.
If the farmers demands were to be accepted, the entire economy and baking sector would go for a spin. Are we ready for it???
to give reasonable price, are you as consumers willing to pay higher price for vegetables???
last year 25 paise per litre cess on petrol was fixed to meet latur water crisis, people agitated.

either be public ready to pay extra tax / cess to offset the huge loss due to proposed waiver of agricultural loans or stop shedding crocodile tears.
if you want to help farmers by writing off their loan:
1)be ready and willing to pay extra tax /cess
2) do not cry if the prices of agricultural products is increased

dear raja hindustani,
do you have any idea how much the govt has to pay as wages and pensions and provide for subsidies.,be it LPG or railway ticket, the list of subsidy is endless
even after 7 th pay commission, govt employees are unhappy. shame on all of them as people in private sector work 4 times govt employees at nearly 1/4 salaries
