Why Gauri Maulekhi is selectively sympathetic as animal activist
by Gulzara Azad on Jun 01, 2017 03:55 PM  | Hide replies

AS an animal activist ,she should be acring for all the animals that go to the slaughter house and not only the ones that BJP asks her to care for !!!!She must look at the Goats and Sheep as well, and help frame laws for licencing of these at Slaughter house.Hope she understands this and acts independent of any compulsions.Jai Hind

The whole text of Gauri Maulekhi is an illustration for those who loosely comment without understanding the law. It is Central Gov. not BJP/Namo framed it. No one should irritate himself.

Restriction on selling
by Gladyschellam on Jun 01, 2017 02:06 PM

Cattles are being grown mostly in villages by BPL people, one particular community and a select few group of communities for their livlihood depends on the conducive environments. Banks have been lending (only) rural areas over a period of 45 years with 25% subsidy by govt under IRDP programme. It encourages rural employment and restrict migrations to big towns and cities in every state. In the absence of poor monsoon and other factors affecting agricultural growth paved the way for migration causing more unemployment.
This is general fact and of course govt would have surveyed in this regard.
Whereas inclusive of me who have no experience in protection of cattles at their house/field speak either in favour or against. A restriction on selling is politicised by all political parties and all sectons of people who never kept a cattle on their own and it is going to be forgotten after few days by the people who are for or agst. but the practial sufferers are going to be the people who keeps those animals.
