This is the experience of every contributor who expresses himself politely using parliamentary language and makes his point concisely. Only foul language will get you published.
"My parents always told us that this was what true Kashmiriyat was about. About Hindus and Muslims respecting each other's religions."This is very do.I think this is the practice everywhere in India.I do it;do bow my head &have a silent prayer as I pass a mosque. In U.P. where I happened to work people do bow to mazars. An industrialist-he was a Hindu- told me:leave the mazar as it is ;people come to pray there:The problem is the self declared Laboratory of religion ,our neigbour does every thing to be the ruler of THE HINDUSTAN that existed before the British came.India is too tight lipped to say it.Internet articles say that.An enemy country is an enemy country. No Prithviraj allowed the invader to go back , the first time story" For the sake of votes we don't tell the truth R.PONNAMBALAM
this is the problem with "secular" discourse. you can never ever show a problem without also putting in "the other side" to somehow make it equal. yes, pandits suffered, but you know what, everyone did. this is the kind of empty pot rattling that is sick. being a Kashmiri pandit herself, author is just misusing her own ethic identity to peddle her brand of NDTV logic, which we all know what its about.
no iota of empathy for her own kin who were brutally ripped apart from their homeland, and somehow the ones who did that are "also victims"?
