Friends, both of you are very true. We should be unbiased as a common man. Congress or BJP all are same if we see them at a larger perspective. But Rediff is not truthfully and they look biased towards Congress. Not acceptable. As a reporter they should be critical to everybody as they are expected to preserve the democracy.

Sajjad ji is a typical analyst who are yet not tired by any political party despite having "deep" understanding of the issue. Politics and Column writting in a comfortable enviro is altogether a different game.

NITISH A LOSER FOR NOW BUT BIHAR MINUS LALU FAMILY GAINS A LOT
by damodaran mohan on Jul 30, 2017 04:37 PM

Nitish may be the biggest loser but Bihar is the biggest gainer for sure for having got rid of the corrupt Lalu dynastic rule. Given that Nitish was dominated by Lalu family during the last 20 months and Lalu family's/Tejasvi's hold over Bihar was progressively getting strengthened Nitish had no choice but play the gambit. Frankly both Nitish and Lalu family were playing games from day one of the govt. formation to destroy the other but Nitish had the upper hand of covert support of Modi govt. all through against a vulnerable corrupt Lalu family who had no chance. At least Nitish has an opportunity to prove himself working on the Bihar development agenda while simultaneously using Modi govt. to expose and discredit Lalu family in the eyes of people of Bihar to weaken his Yadav vote base. However it remains to be seen to what extent Nitish succeeds refurbish his reputation through future good work given his clean image hat has been dented very badly due to his frequent jumping ship. Of course PM-ship dream is over for him as he can't jump ship yet again and will remain at Modi/BJP's mercy. As long as Bihar develops minus the Lalu dynasty it is ok.
