In 2015, Nitish showed himself to be a calculative politician. He could not have won on his own , but knew that a non NDA coalition had a very good chance of winning. In 2017, he has shown himself to be a weakling, unable to strongly stand up to the BJP and his former adversary, Modi. He didn't have to come to the defence of the Lalu family, but if he was really convinced of the principles behind the coalition, he could have faced up to the BJP with a conundrum: Why didn't a Minister in Mr Modi's Gujarat cabinet resign after being CONVICTED ? And why hasn't Uma Bharti resigned after being charge sheeted in the Babri case ? All those suspected of wrong doing should be treated in the same way and Nitish forgot this basic rule of governance.

You really have no answer why wrong doers in the BJP are treated as National Heroes.
They have stolen a total of about Rs. 2000 crores (if the total value of all their assets plus the total value of all their scams as recorded by the CBI and the IT dept - Rs. 950 crores in the Fodder scam and Rs. 1100 crores in the benami land deals alleged to be made by the Yadav family members and the Rs. 170 crores worth of assets in Delhi, Patna and Orissa alleged to have been purchased with proceeds from the railway facilities scam are taken in their entirety).
But.....but........what about the theft committed by Gautam Adani with Modis help ?
Adani has for long been the BJPs main election campaign financier. The BJP spent no less than Rs. 12000 crores plus in the 2014 LS election, a world record by any party in any country as per the Centre for Media Studies. The BJP even left the combined election expenses of the Republican and Democratic parties for the 2016 US Presidential election far behind !
How Adani came into such immense wealth is the stuff of several CAG, ED and DRI reports as well as the subject of litigation in several ongoing cases before the SIT as well as several courts (and which have been heavily adjourned and stalled with the aid of benign prosecution lawyers appointed by Modis governments in Gujarat as well as at the centre) !
To give credit to Modi, the Congress led UPA too helped actively in stalling cases against Adani when they were in power till 2014.
And this man, Narendra Modi, is calling Lal Yadav corrupt !

But they are on their way !
And that is why he has been so busy during the last 15 years (as Gujarat CM and as PM) labouring very hard to scuttle the institution of the Lok Ayukta, dilute the provisions of the RTI, delay or fail in answering RTI queries, transfer upright but very inconvenient officials of the ED and the DRI like in the P note scam of Gautam Adani....!!
Modi has been truly busy running away from the law for so many years !
But he has two big allies in his bid to escape from being caught for being the most corrupt politician in India today !
His first ally is the Congress party (which is equally guilty in committing all the hugely corrupt acts as Modi, although they derived much less benefit from such corruption than Modi and the BJP did) !
And his second big ally is the bottomless stuxpidity of North Indian commoners, who cant even understand what big time corruption and what big time diversion of public wealth are !
If only Modi can somehow get the office of the CAG too to stop pointing out the huge rip offs routinely done by the Adanis and Ambanis and others under his watch in Gujarat and at the centre, he can permanently insulate himself from the chances of many people noticing what he is really doing !

Kerala, which has just 1.4 % of its population defecating in the open (migrant workers from north India and a small section of the tribals) is a gutter while north Indian states, where more than 70 % of the entire population defecates in the open due to lack of toilets and running water (as per Census survey, 2011), is a clean paradise ??
BJP now people understand that they want to be in Power by hook or crook , So they are not in governace , they want to Power not common man , next bjp will learn a leason . there corruption slogan is Gimmick , Skeletons will be out once they are out of Power , Modi is the most corrupt. for Power

Sam! Your Rahul tore the ordinance issued by MMS government to protect Lalu when MMS was away but went to the same Lalu afterwards. Now Rahul and Sonia are out on bail.
yes , they are single largest party , he said he will get support of JD (U) MLAS , it may happen because Nitish is a reluctant leader , People mandate is for Alliance to continue not to break .In all the way looser is Nitish this time he may not act like Chanakiya
This is clearly a master stroke by Modi, Amit Shah and Nitish Kumar. Nitish has played such a master stroke that Lalu and Congress will never forget in their life. Lalu was acting like a king maker and was dictating all his terms with Nitish through his two not properly educated, immature and inexperienced sons. Now Lalu and congress leaders are totally shocked and not in a position to even react.
