In early 70's we wanted to cover some function to be a stringer of Cacutta Door Darshan. From news paper we learnt that some function of Navy was at "Bhau Ka Dhakka" in Bombay. We went along with 16mm camera. While taking entry security asked about our Id. We bluffed "Press". We were allowed to enter. It was a wonderful sight. Beautiful Navy band was playing classic tunes. Once again security people came and threatened us. "Show your press card or we kick you out." Our enjoyment turned into horrible moment. We left the scene in gusto. Pranab Mukherji was Defence Minister then. I could see him first and last time there on sea shore.
