Its really pathetic state of affairs..Political parties directly or indirectly has been involved in Arms dealing, although originally new machines are direct import should be upto the mark but when indigenous or old arms equipment is considered the input material, spares could be of chinese origin.

Only in a real war situation, we will come to know which are all Indian weaponries would work in defending our country. It may not be a surprise even if a missile launched targeting China returning back from its trajectory and exploding at the place of its launch.....

Indians should prefer Indian goods or goods manufactured by other Asian countries like Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Japan and European countries. For food grains, clothes India is self reliant. Check country of manufacturer before you buy.

Only reason for buying any chinese product is its rock bottom pricing, affordability and high margin the importers and retailers get.Even Big name in our Industry depends largely on Chinese goods for its profitability. Its dangerous as slowly it not only eating away indigenous industries but also creating threat to Security when we consider Arms spares and spares for Heavy industries like Power,Steel etc...

A society which created and maintains the caste system is an inherently dishonest one because even the earliest humans who created these discriminatory systems were perfectly aware that the discrimination was false and with ulterior motives. Those people are the original corrupt ones of India who have pssed the tradition in the families through completely thorough brain wash called culture and religion.

No political party is responsible for creating corruption in India. Parties are merely the market places, not the manufacturers of corruption. The manufacture happens within the families of India who as their child grows impart the millenia old knowledge of dishonest social relationships and the skills required for its continuation.

No political party is responsible for creating corruption in India??? You know the discipline flow from top to bottom in any organisation.and in democracy political parties run the govt(a big organisation) then tell me whose resposibility to curb the corruption and bring the change.Saving curropt parties like Congress will not help, whichever party involved is responsible.

Mr. Rao you may well read this articles in this article mentioned four such bearings order Rs.35.38 during 2013 but exact month not mentioned alterntively six bearings at the cost of Rs 53.07 lakh on August 27, 2014. From May 2014 is ruled by BJP and earlier 2013 congress. your blaming only for congress but in this article mentioned August 2014 it means present govt is also involved in this corruption. Defence purchase is always in corruption either this govt or that govt and blaming only that govt is not correct. As soon as general election is nearing this type of corruption will come because the reason you are well known. No party is sincere to work in India every one want money and blaming one another. there are many scams comes during this govt namely vyappam scam, lalit gate and many more but not come in the light because this is honest govt and will not come also. so dont blame only one party first complete study the articles and them comments. Jai Hind I hope this will not allowed by modertor.

Warranty on bearings?
by R Chakravarti on Jul 22, 2017 07:54 AM

If a gun fails on the battlefield, any assurance like free replacement is not of much use since the company can't undo the consequences! What is now urgently needed is to find out the quality of the Chinese bearings which have been supplied and, if possible, make replacements in India with strict quality control.

It is of course necessary to catch and punish the culprits but the more important thing is to ensure that the guns function properly.

Unfortunate for Army
by ANIL SINGH on Jul 22, 2017 06:26 AM

The OFB in collusion with DGQA is the biggest enemy of Indian Army. Their sub-standard products goes to Armed Forces after due clearance by DGQA/DGAQA but fail miserably in operations. Arms and Ammunition alongwith other equipment produced by OFB including clothing and web equipment are of utmost poor quality and these are cleared by DGQA for good sum of money from suppliers. I wish govt should sell-off OFB and abolish DGQA / DGAQA.
