It is clear that Congress can never ever come into power in Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh was the biggest contributor for the formation of Congress government in their last term at the center before BJP. It has hurt the pride of Andhra Pradesh just to please a greedy person and foreign lady. Traditionally also Andhra Pradesh had been the biggest contributor but see what Congress has done to Andhra Pradesh and as a result it has now become a regional party as most of the states are ruled by non-congress governments. Congress party is a dying party and within a decade or so people will say there was a party called congress as they speak of janata dal.

Meira Kumar's defeat should not be foisted on either the Congress party or the opposition party or any particular party's stand on any particular issue as they are entitled to have opinions and adhere to them. But Mrs.Meira Kumar lasst because she ordered the doors of Parliament to be closesd and its Telecast interrupted and allowed some MPs to do the duties entrusted to Marshals of physically encircling other MPs, during the debate on Andhra Pradesh re-organization bill. All educated people, irrespective of their views on the bill felt Mrs.Kumar failed to protect the glorious legacy she had inherited. Contrast this with Mr.Ram Nath Kovind, being a BJP politician earned the appreciation of Mr.Nitish Kumar, Bihar Chief Minisster,for his impaartiality and fairness, to the extent he voted not for Mrs.Kumar, his conglomeration's choice and a daughter of Bihar soil, but for Kovind purely because he enhanced the dignity and prestige of the posts that he had occupied.
