You are completely wrong in assuming that people from North Eastern states are charged more rental.I, unlike you live in the same area you refer to.In fact persons like you who are completely unconnected with ground reality poison minds of people with "assumed" information.And also it is not only people from North East who are abused,infact if one particular state is abused most then it is bihar.Even these "north Eastern" people abuse them.Big deal. We are a racist society.From Kashmir to Kanyakumari.And from garo to Girgit.Face it.
thanks a lot mr sudhir bisht.we the north east pepoles are treated like any things in other parts of india.not only the students many educated aged persons also donot know about northeast.every body though that pepoles from north east are jongly.everybody leaves in forest.eat raw fleash,never use clothes,and many sad thoughts.but they donot know that they are getting crude oil,coal,bamboo,jute,tea,lime,silk, and many natural property's from north east.the only male and longest river of india in northeast,full of crude oil,highest producer of tea,excellent culture,birth place of saint sankardev, dr bhupen hazarika, lot of great freedom fighter,beautiful natural place with snow fall,lake,huge river and mountains,kamakhya temple,many historical places,kaziranga national park,beautiful orchids,and many mores.
while doing my masters in electronics I knew a few from UP who did not know the basics of electronics itself while doing their masters on that subject usually getting 'c or d grade' and more to that NOW they are doing high jobs in Samsung Mumbai !!....so do you expect them to remember the names of states they studied IN SCHOOL ..
Pardon me! Not only the NorthIndians but even most educated southIndians too lack knowledge about the people of Northeastern states like Sikkim, Assam, Nagaland, etc. Only a few of the educated have some knowledge about them.
Its not there mistake. People should be taught from the very beginning. Mere computer knowledge and information about information technology is not enough.
But our educationists prepared the syllabus such.
Firstly the officials and the staff of the educational department should be prepared to have some knowledge and that too general knowledge and civics and moral knowledge and should be implemented in the school curriculum.
Mamta is destroying the unity of the country by her statement against Center which is doing pretty good job in taking freely moveable India ahead despite many odds.
Young generation is under the impression that "can History & Geography give employment. Teaching community In primary school is equally responsible for this current fate
It is shameful that gradates do not know about North Eastern states. If the media, especially news channel show informative programs about these states it would be great. I have not seen any Hindi movie wherein any character in Ngbhoomi or Meghalay or Mizoram is included.(only exception Danny & Mary Kom). The Mahabharat mentions Nagbhoomi & Manipur as the princess Ulupi & Chitrangada were married to Arjun. I think we must spend some time in knowing our people & country rather than playing on Mobile hones or what apps. The next VP from NE. will be highly welcomed

rightly said. We should respect our NE people as they are part of our country. Their contribution to the growth of the country is as same as any other state in india. Yes, media should cover more and provide us with more information so that people can understand about the NE states.
