so, whats the argument, that is there is any wrongdoing by prannoy roy, ignore it, since his channel viewership is low? and why is mr roy so important that any action against him has to be "modi's decision"? mr author, your attempt is so pathetically transparent!!

The only wrongdoing on the part of Prannoy Roy was to criticise the demonetization fiasco in severe terms.

Earlier during the UPA regime, Prannoy Roy was targeted for severely criticising the govt for the 2G spectrum scam. A false case was filed against him which fizzled out as the prosecution could not fabricate evidence that could stand in a court of law.

But, despite lack of evidence, neither the UPA nor the NDA govts withdrew the case.

In the last 3 years alone, while NDTV filed affidavit after affidavit for taking up the case for consideration, the prosecution (govt lawyer) managed to get no less than 21 adjournments without even opening arguments !

All this is recorded fact and goes to show how there is little to differentiate between the Congress and the BJP in terms of corruption !

is yet again in sore need of a diversionary tactic !

Earlier, he jumped right into the half baked idea of demonetization some dim wit whispered into his ears and believed in earnest that he is going to make everyone look up at him in awe !

And now, with the demonetization claiming a very big victim in the form of small and subsistence level farmers who lost all their investments due to the crash in prices (a direct result of the demonetization), the komaaaaali is running from state to state writing off tens of thousands of crores of rupees in farm loans disregarding the fervent pleas of the RBI not to do so !

From braying aloud incessantly about putting an end to black money during the demonetization, the komaaaali is now down to not saying a word about it or a word about how much the exercise fetched for the state in black money !!

Likewise, he has now jumped into a hastily put together GST regime. Rather than wait for the finalisation of a foolproof GST regime before implementation, what drove the komaaaaali to jump into it without adequate preparation is his overriding penchant to try and appropriate credit for the work done and initiative taken by others !

In all probability, the venture into Bhutan with the Indian army is a similar clever by half trick to divert the attention of commoners from the unfolding ill effects of the GST regime !

has been going from one blunder to the next with increasing speed !

The writer has left out the latest among his blunders, namely, the pea brained decision to send soldiers to the Bhutan China border to try and intimidate China !

It is said that it takes two to tango. In each of the blunders the komaaaaali has committed, one is the dunce who whispered the idea into his ears. And the other is the komaaaaali himself who dived head first into it under the assumption that he is going to get his name recorded in gold for posterity by doing so !
