ARTICLE IS FULL OF SCRAP
by aam admi on Jan 31, 2017 09:59 AM

why this writer is trying to write in favour of old sinner Congress who are to be blamed for the most of the sufferings of the defence persons who were denied their demands consistently due to Congress arrogance .
It is BJP\'s Modi who put balm on their sufferings after a long rule of Congress.
Still the writer blindly supporting Congress and blaming BJP for wrong reasons , shame on her for spreading lies for political reasons .
She is acting as agent of doomed party.

1. Indira Gandhi scrapped OROP

2. It is the BJP implmented OROP and there may be few minor implementation issues. OROP covers more than 95% of what ex-servicemen wanted.

3. People will vote for a party that gave 0% and will NOT vote for a party that gave 95%?

Well said but knowing Indians well they do not think of these as reasons to vote. Religion and caste only -:)

Funny

Is it not funny that an ordinary military officer expects that the prime minister of India should look after his seating arrangement. Either the said officer is under educated or the journalist who put the words in his mouth is.

These are facts which have hurt the feelings of people like me.We have been taken for a ride by the politicians and bureaucracy. And the nation also take us for granted.do not send your children to the armed forces.Let the politicians and bureaucrats take the lead and let their children serve in the forces.

BJP is somebody who actually brought in OROP
It might have deficiencies but OROP was definitely brought in by BJP. In Congress time nothing was there ans you were taken care of? Why do you lie, you are looking through your religious glasses that is all -:)

BJP has only increased the pension one time, but has given it the name of OROP and this has mislead the civilians giving them a feeling that ex serviceman is making unnecessary demands. Every year the prises increase. A sickshaw wala also earns more than what he earned in previous year. Surely a defence man is also entitled for an yearly increase. And this is what is OROP that the defence man is asking for. Is this too much ?

Not sure not able to reply. Read my comments I did not say military is wrong in any way. In fact pension should be brought under planning commission. But we need to remember that it is BJP who did something and not anybody else

There is no way Veteran community can vote for BJP. Promises were broken and veterans were cheated.

Be happy at least you have 85% of what you wanted. In any such protests/deals no one gets such a good bargain.
At the same time I wish they get all of it..100%.
I am not aware of the intricacies of the OROP demands and what the govt gave but I trust a soldier more than a politician and wish they get the balance 15%.

COming to who they would vote, it is ironic that you suggest the soldiers will vote for the congress who gave nothing, but not for the BJP who met 85% of their demands.
