SC order

SC should allow this sport with riders and make the State Home secretary (or Secretary of any other appropriate department) responsible for it's implementation.

Jallikattu is only a sport. North Indian and Gujarat rulers could not understand and differentiate between sport and abuse. It is a cultural problem

In fact. only the state government and it's affiliated bodies should be allowed to conduct this sport under the direct supervision of the Home secretary / Animal Welfare department.

be aware you are speaking against indians . this is how you silly people behave at your homes in hindi , your gaali is enough proof of your background. SC will not dare give such judgements to UP or bihar . where lawlessnes is maximum .. when you speak such language against your own citizens you cannot be an indian.

It is very disturbing to note that people like Ravi Mohta use filthy and hate filled language against another Indian.Tamils are having great culture and their contribution to the country is huge.We should respect Tamilians the way we respect any other Indian.

Funny. PETA was promoted by DMK and ban was imposed by SC well before BJP came to power. Why blame BJP for everything.

Neelakantan ... you are free to have a political view. The fact is Jallikattu is a traditional sport of TamilNadu (and in parts of Andhra Pradesh too). Most of the people from other States will find it difficult to understand. That is why the student movement has emerged. It may turn into a peoples' movement in the days to come

Funny - who promoted PETA? PETA is an Internatioanal NGO having its Head Quarters in US.

PETA India, based in Mumbai launched during 2000.Operates under the PRINCIPLE that animals are ours to eat, wear , experiment on or for use for entertainment.

Eating of animals - Wearing of animal Products (Leather)- Whether anybody or authorities has the guts to question.

Everybody is aware as to how the animals are being used or misused - inclusive of bulls, elephants, monkeys, horses, goats, street dogs etc.

I think jallikattu was banned during 2014 - The protest is agst the govt and agst any political parties. To resolve the problem the govt is responsible.

in TN awakened again ??

Poor little komaaaaaali Modi !

The only languages he can use to bray out anywhere are hyndi and gujarati !

If he dares to come to TN and bray in the kyndi language (as he foolishly did in Kerala), the BJP might surely see its miserable vote share in TN of 2.5 % further decline !!
