One cant underestimate the BJP. After all, it has the biggest hoard of black money among all the parties in the fray. Other parties are also corrupt; but their black money chests are dwarfed by the size of that of the BJP (which spent no less than Rs 12000 crores as per the Centre for Media studies but declared an expenditure of just Rs. 700 crores to the Election Commission in the 2014 LS election).
What else can help the BJP hold so many massive election rallies (with crowds brought in thousands of buses from distant areas), so many elaborate melas, yatras and engineer so many communal riots (yes, this too needs a lot of money to pay the rioters, after all), etc. ?
The Congress party, erstwhile masters of corporate funded election campaigns, now finds itself pushed to a distant second place in terms of receiving donations of tax evaded funds from corporates such as the Adanis, Birlas, Ambanis, etc. !!
And to top it all, it is often the party with the deepest pockets that can sway the easily gullible commoners of UP !
The exceptions in UPs electoral history occurred when a single emotive issue (emotive issues influencing election results are another indicator of the less than informed nature of the majority of the voters) was present in sufficient magnitude - something that is absent today.

BJP under Modi almost re-built India from the last 70 years damages. Earlier Govts. have almost sold the land to China/Pakistan.
