lament of a musrooming duffer
by Lalukumar Choubey on Jan 07, 2017 05:11 PM

The frustration is understandable. Freebies in abundance are blocked. Funds for the NGOs have been marred. Nefarious activities are seized.
The accommodation of Lutyen's Bungalow is justifiably denied. Sinecure jobs are abolished. Keep on shouting beta.

You are a sore loser buddy!
by Anup Halarnkar on Jan 03, 2017 05:08 PM

After trump won, next day, clinton supporters were seen marching with placards stating trump was not their president as seen on CNN and major tv networks. So the majority who voted for trump are to be blamed for ruckus created by minority that could not see Clinton in power??
How absurd? You may not like trump or modi but that does not entitle you to write a biased article. Both Modi and Trump came to power because people saw them fit to lead a nation. its people like you who are sore losers!!

Modi's record will.be worse.
by Rajesh Chheda on Jan 03, 2017 01:03 PM  | Hide replies

In all possible combinations, Modi will leave office in 2019 with 60 million more unemployed workforce than when he took office in 2014. This factor alone is sufficient to negate whatever little good he tried to achieve.

Year of horror?
by Umacharan Panigrahi on Jan 03, 2017 10:54 AM

The author has gone off his tangent. It's all neither Modi's ascendance nor intolerance of majority.
For the first time after partition of the country people at large are tasting real independence, their ambitions/aspirations have been fueled, expectations on all fronts including their own are high with the political change. They wish to see Pakistan punished, Kashmir solved, patriotism flourish, skewed secularism vanish; they want Modi to do all these simultaneously. Yes, the method is improper, this expression of youth energy must be channelized for positive actions for betterment of nation/society; otherwise it may soon become a 'Frankenstein monster'.
We as post freedom growing youth never had scope to relish freedom, at best we had a free train journey on 15th Aug, not any more , now youth not only want freedom but also its manifestation in every aspect of living.
Modi has many more things to accomplish soon, not enough to go around the country with only 'development' talk.
