People write all non sense without knowing the facts..how was any anti national activity held in Ramjas College?Its just ABVP and media hype about it. Just like JNU row(where till date no charges has been proved). There is one set of fools who write and threat and spread hatred. Agencies sleep and political parties reap benefits.
I wonder how educated is he ? How desperate is he for attention of the educated in India....! Affluence had made it easy for people like him to add fuel to fire......thus betraying the very masses who made him a popular lyricist....shame on such petty bigots like javed akhtar who expose their utter immaturity and silliness on such matters like the DU issue.

Is Javed Akbar himself not bias ? He should think before accusing others to be bias when he himself is also bias. How can he blame only ABVP only and has no guts to say anything against other student union leaders who are creating disturbance at JNU and At Delhi for quite some time. Javed Akbar should better know that Segway is more intelligent and mature than him and in one sentence he effectively said what he wanted to convey while this Javed Akbar can not say in many words and exposed himself to be as bias and color blind person.
FEEL FREE TO MIGRATE TO PUNJAB BECAUSE HERE THEY CANT DO ANYTHING. DELHI IS A CLOSED CHAPTER FOR US AFTER 1984. I MYSELF SUFFERED THAT FORTNIGHT HIDING HERE AND THERE. I like the way you try to call Indians cranky! I have lived in Canada and US for the last several years and I totally DISAGREE WITH YOU when you say sensible societies like UK, AUS, CANADA - In Canada there is a running joke about how uneducated the punjabis are and how they live in their own groups, the Canadians resent the fact that Punjabis do not mingle with the people of the country they moved in to. I can give many examples such as this. Yes 1984 happened and it is very unfortunate as unfortunate as partition but it is not INDIA that you need to be mad at it is the evil Congress Party! Oh no but you guys love Congress for all it has done to you the way you let congress win in Punjab.
Freedom of Speech does not Apply to somebody who uses it Against India or asking for Secession for Jammu & Kashmir from India - Such People or Students need to be Booked under Sedition Act and Confiscated and Interrogated - Whether it is a Ma1e or a Fema1e or even an Ex- Serviceman or his relatives.
Nobody should be Spared if they have Anti National thoughts & Feelings - Even if they are Politicians also - Nobody is Greater than The Country - they must be Brought to book.

I do not agree in violence against anybody, BUT I totally agree with you about acting legally against people who foment anti national ideas. These so called students should be barred from any educational institution for 10 years and it should be made in to a law.
Kashmiri students like Umar Khalid and Shehla Rashid double playing in india. They say democracy is good in India but bad in Kashmir. They are double headed peegs.
These hypocrites thought that they can fool all the people all the time by raising anti-national issues and let their peers in media and politics coat it with FOE, Victimization, secular, liberal colours and present it to public to garner sympathy.But it has backfired.
