For the same reason, most white Americans dont or cant distinguish between muxlim South Asian immigrants and non-muxlim ones.
Most white American commoners openly or secretly harbor a distinct revulsion and dislike for South Asian immigrants and dont see much of a difference between these people and Afro Americans.
Raxcially, most South Asians (especially most Indians) are very close to Afro Americans. If an Afro American does not have woolly hair, the average white man in the US would find it very difficult to tell him apart from the average Indian immigrant!
As reported earlier, the number of local affiliate bodies for the virulently white supremacist Ku Klux Klan tripled in the last three months in the US !
A prominent KKK member (Mr Burgess) openly conveyed to a group of Indian Americans *I dont want you sitting next to me, you people*! When one of the Indian Americans told him pleadingly that they are Indians and are not muxlims, Burgess ignored him. He was looking at their raxcial features and wouldnt just care there are different countries in South Asia!
A number of organizations of Indian immigrants in the US have been trying desperately to set themselves apart from the Afro Americans in the eyes of the white majority by calling themselves *brown*. This is hilarious considering how there is very little to raxcially distinguish most of them from most Afro Americans!
Trump may end up doing some good stuff by reducing government maintenance. Though he taking the state towards fascist model, he will reduce wastage that was part of Obama legacy.
One would be naive to miss the point here! We cannot live in 21st Centuary with the colonial mind set! During thoss days, racism ruled! We need to wake up, as simple as that!
