INTELLIGENT PEOPLE ARE IGNORED
by Satyanarayana on Feb 16, 2017 12:32 PM

There are many intelligent people in our country, but the fact is that the politicians and bureaucrats do not allow them to come up with their inventions unless they are benifitted.

Wonderful achievement by ISRO .At the same time I feel that the concern expressed by the Union of Concerned Scientists is genuine . Rather than go for records we should try for more practical steps such as a robot lander on the Moon or Mars and at the same time think about manned launches either for orbit or for landings . Of course launching multiple satellites brings in money that we badly need for our space programes . Best wishes to ISRO .

It is a matter of pride for us all that our scientists are doing things involving hurling one or two or over a hundred satellites in one go. But, having now mastered that technology, should we keep on doing progress in the same field, say, by increasing the number to a thousand? Why not use this great technology potential to make our rail trains safe, at a speed of say 110/120 KMPH and a distance of a couple of hundred KM non-stop? Congrats to ISRO.

Congress would have brought reservation in ISRO also if it knew that it will become so big.
