Hotels & Restaurants should engage safety officers at each and every unit. Hotel Management course should have a comprehensive subject on fire management And safety issues. Bouncers can be a part of safety requirements but it is not the only safety ned of such public establishments. Moreover, use of plastic & wooden materials should be minimized for decoration and other purposes at all public places. It is seen that doors are narrow and sometime double to increase air conditioning efficiency and in case of fire or other hazard,it is difficult to exit and every chance of getting caught in the emergency. Exit points are not sufficient for the capacity of the visitors.
It is mostly seen that several hotels are using corridors for food serving to guests and even servicing staff also use the guest area for replenishment of dishes and lot of times dresses are spoiled in the process. There would be definitely a stamped in case of any accident what so ever minor it may be. Stairs are too narrow and also involve lot of curves, a good source of stamped.
Safety subjects must be there in each course of study and specialised courses on safety be introduced in universities for availability of trained workforce. It should not confine to Disaster Management Authority which can have limited capacity and available at distant places which would take a little time to come for help at desired place. Immediate availability is a must, on the spot.
