by jaswinder chabbra on Dec 29, 2017 04:07 PM

Responsibility? Why public is never at fault? Why is it that it is always the authorities that have to take the blame?

i was there
by Kkashyap ganddhi on Dec 29, 2017 03:27 PM

I was there with my friends and am we managed to escape unhurt and alive to tell the this story. I am still shaken by this .. I have been following this since yesterday. I keep asking myself. Wasnt it that we take it for granted from all the places we visit that we are in a safe zone. There werent any boards which i could easily see saying atleast that this place is safe or a certificate from the CFO saying loud and clear that this place is fire safe. I do remember seeing these signs is restaurants like shv sagar etc saying this. We as restaurant goers should be responsible enough and boycott these kind of places where they take us for granted...I hope we can all stand up together and boycott these places.. they will automatically shut down...

Till the next tragedy....
by Musalmaan Masala on Dec 29, 2017 01:55 PM

So one more tragedy has occurred. Now pages of newsprint and hours of TV air time will be consumed in discussing the pros and cons about what happened. Advice will be dished out by all and sundry and then it will be business as usual - TILL THE NEXT TRAGEDY,

Wrong time, wrong place, and bad luck
by ganesh pillai on Dec 29, 2017 01:33 PM

I would first say I am very sorry for those dead, but again we have to be careful regarding our safety.

No fire drills, no mock drills makes mockery of our life.

RIP

BMC is the most corrupt Organization in Mumbai
by Yogesh Murgude on Dec 29, 2017 12:15 PM  | Hide replies

You can do simply anything if you have money power and connection in political people. There is no value for human life in Mumbai. People are not ashamed of it, since they are doing it throught their life. Safety is no more important.

You go to CST and surrounding area. Many any buildings are in really bad shape, but people are working in those buldings since those buildings have offices. Also there are many buldings in such bad shapes where families are living.

The problem is Mumbai lacks space, so people do adjustment of any and all kind without thinking much.

I am very angry and sad at the same time about this. Since common people simply can't do anything about this. They can only survive in this situation.
