association with defence aircraft manufacturing and servicing.

It has decades old experience in the field, a big array of top scientists and engineers with a combination of experience and youth, large chunks of land laid out with the required infrastructure (a good part of which is fully depreciated and upgradable very cost effectively), an admirable track record of meeting production and cost targets, given the limitations of technology and fund allocations, immense spare capacity to undertake fresh and cutting edge projects and above all, a consistent record of earning profits and giving dividends to the govt.

Yet, this govt led by Narendra Modi, chose to push the public sector HAL out of its Rs 30000 crore deal with Dassault and install in its place Reliance Defence Limited belonging to Anil Ambani, a private company entirely new to the field of defence manufacturing that employs engineers and scientists who have retired from HAL !!

The Anil Ambani group has been struck crippling blows due to the cancellation of its telecom license further to the unearthing of the 2G scam (in which it paid a bribe of at least Rs 200 crores to the DMK controlled Kalaignar TV) to be allotted preferential spectrum). Reliance telecom is the biggest debtor of public sector banks, owing as much as Rs 1.25 lakh crores to banks out of the Rs 6 lakh odd crores of total NPAs of the countrys public sector banks.

Modi has already written off a big part of the NPAs owed to PSU banks by big corporates - underwriting them with recapitalization allocations from the exchequer.

Now, he will shoot 2 birds with one stone with the RDL Dassault deal (help the ADAG group recover fully from the 2G after effect and prepare yet another corporate to donate big to the BJPs election campaigns) !

MODI did not write off RIL's debts. He wrote off bank NPA's. There is a lot of difference between the two. Try misleading the un-read with your semantics.
Who gave the loans to the Realince? Rather under whose nose or pressure were these given?
If MODI did not bail out the banks, every other deposit holder in these banks would be on the road.
Sorry bro....this commie Kerala kchicdi is not for our consumption.
