The last para of this article illustrates also, the broad mindedness of ex President Pranab MUkherjee. He wanted the PDP to form a Goct in spite of it being a junior partner in J&K. His ensitivuty to the Kashmiris issues is a sharp contrast to the bull dozing that the BJP indulges in now, reducing J&K to a state with two governments , one in Jammu and One in Srinagar.

What statesmanship. It was as usual running away from responsibilities. They had the mandate, they should have formed the government, and tried to solved the kashmir issue.
Did they fix the kashmir issue? no! did they make it worse? Yes! BJP has been dealing with the kashmir issue in the correct manner. And there is nothing wrong with Jammu and kashmir being seperate, they should have been seperate states right from the begining.
