Congress
by DIGAMBAR JOSHI on Dec 19, 2017 12:46 PM

Will Rahul take second seat in WB, JK, HIMACHAL, UP, MAHARASHTRA, BIHAR, TN. Would he sacrifice Prime Minister post if Congress could win less seats than total seats won by above parties combined? We have to wait till few years till next election.

Spinning will not help
by jay pillai on Dec 19, 2017 12:32 PM  | Hide replies

Any which way you spin the story it is a blow for the congress ...look at its leaders they lost.
Splitting votes on caste lines is the only way congress can survive but when ever the emotive issues like Nationalism , Religion issues come up Hindus have dumped caste..So what will congress do when they have to handle the Ram temple issue once the court starts the trial...that will determine if congress can survive or will they be a B team of BJP as we saw in this election when they hid all their Muslim leaders

No one has studied election results

Its not the magic of Rahul gandhi nor patidars agitation nor Hardik Patel.

Its BJP and NOTA
in 15-20 seats it clearly shows that they are unhappy with BJP but reluctant to go with congress.

For eg
In Kaprada, BJP lost by 170 votes, NOTA stands 3868
In chota udaipur, bjp lost with less than 1000 votes, NOTA stands 5870

there are many examples. the people were unhappy with local candidate but didnt vote for a change. Thats where BJP lost their plot of 115 seats.

First of all you yourself haven't done the analysis properly and thinks other are buffoon to accept your analogy.
Total Vote for NOTA recorded under Gujarat election is 1.8% as per ECI.
So basically you mean to say remaining 97.2% are deaf and dumb who just voted abruptly?

Divisions among Indians
by Raghuram on Dec 19, 2017 12:16 PM  | Hide replies

Any type of divisions within humanity breaks up the unity among the people. However, we all see that today in the country there big hatred among people.
So is NOT dividing people with caste anytime better than having religious divisions.... Atleast people will dwell in harmony with neighbors and others whom we see everyday.

This is the sad state of humanity. There is no politicians in the present era who is not selfish. People because of selfishness will go to any extent (divide people, kill people, betray people) to become leaders. I am not going into history, and only going with what we see in the last 4 to 5 years...Is not the ruling party who said that they will be different, the worst than their predecessor... They said the reason of demonetization was only good.. but is not their own party having loads of black money today in the country. They said GST for good, but they are not willing to bring fuel into GST... They also got into what people should eat and not eat....
