REFORM FOR ECONOMIC DEVOURMENT
by R ponnabalam on Dec 19, 2017 07:55 PM

What economic development had come about by the so called liberalization of economy from sometime around 1980 .It is Economic Devourment not Economic development. The country had taken so many steps in Economic REFORM but had been incompetent and incapable of making the reform and Forms to recover bank Loan. What use the other Reforms?15 Lakh crores unrecovered bankLoans. And chorus of make in India without making good engineering products in India. in 1930s >Top 1% earners captured 21% of total income. In the early 1980s that dropped to 6% income for top 1%.Comes out Liberalization which that Mr.King-n once commented had not set control in place had given this>”Now from 1980 to mid 2014 it is wealth capturing 23%income for Top 1%. The income share of India’s top 1% rose from approximately 6% in 1882 -1883 to above 10% a decade later and then to 15% in 2000 and further still around by 23% by 2014. Then as the ex.V.P.had said quoting crdit susse the top 10 percent of India controlled about 74 percent of it. The poorest 30 percent, meanwhile, had just 1.4 percent of the total wealth," he added. What can be the contribution to GDP by this 1.e % of wealth and what is the contribution to GDB with that 74 % of wealth.R.Ponnambalam

The auther is too concerned about the tactics of the winning party. Infact the tactics of any party is the same and it rarely based on reforms and development. But look at the results, the tactics seems to work and for thr foreseable future it will will remain right. If the people want to see blood in the colosseum thats what the emperror gives. The problem lies with the people. The problem also lies with the politicised media. How many media news reported real problems and completely shut off secterian rhetoric? First you guys write what is important, then let people read it and get enlightened, then the change will happen. But thats not your intention right!

major economic reforms means what ? Take the reserves and divide it equally per capita?

The phrase 'economic reforms ' has become the most abused in India as every brainless idiot talks about it without understanding.

It TAKE DECADES to take a reform any impact on the society. We have been trained by the Indian National Cancer party for decades to take freebies from the tax payer money. In our view , economic reforms means 'freebies' - free jobs, free water, electricity , bicycles, houses, laptops and so on.

When the government enacts GST, the same idiots are up in arms and every one talks like friggin Amartya Sen and how GST is badly implemented. When the government comes up with demonetization to curb cash transactions same dumb fs rant and rave about millions of people suffering at ATM. WTF. Are these not economic reforms ?

Dear, looking at Karnataka's BJP it is very difficult as on date to predict their victory. Yeddi and Eshwarappa will drag the party to ground.
