Rahul vs Modi
by Venu Rajeti on Dec 20, 2017 06:33 PM

Amulyada has definitely a bias against BJP and NDA. Gaguly praised that RG had improved in his capacities. Then why did he take the help of trio (Hardik,Jignesh& Alpesh) in campaign. His capacity was proved in the press meet on 13th by reading the chits provided by his helpers from helpers sitting on his left and right. RG had avoided the press meet on 18th after the results are declared and he deputed Surjewala and Ghelot for the press meet. As a president of the INC he should have faced the press meet.
On the other hand Amit shah faced the press meet.
As suggested in this columns, the comparison should be between the presidents of INC and BJP. Let the writer of the article show three instances where RG had accepted responsibility in the past and what administative position he had discharged effectively. RG did not even dare to take the party leadership in the Lok Sabha.

RG'S SCORE IN STATES WILL DECIDE TIGHTNESS OF 2019 RACE
by damodaran mohan on Dec 20, 2017 05:23 PM

Modi VS Rahul will depend upon the latter's success rate in the coming series of state elections. My personal view is RG is not yet ready to take on Modi given latter's popularity .May be RG will be ready in the next 4-5 yrs provided he not just works but slogs like Modi-Amit Shah combo 24x7 in public life. The question is can he going by over a decade of his work ethics records although to start with Rahul must be complimented for breaking the back of BJP in Gujarat because Patidars are virtually the backbone of BJP that has been broken using Hardik Patel. The argument that Patels are divided and in places like Surat etc. the traders community is still with BJP is all bunkum and I do not want to add any further because people understand what I mean. You can now expect BJP will unleash its dirty tricks department and is very difficult to say where it will lead to because it will be like playing with fire and nature's law is people who are in power are always the most vulnerable ...

It will be an election of unequals as people do not recall corruption and people knows what is good for the country. No change has happened after Gujarat election as elders are crying the delay for getting power..................................

bouncing with complacence?
by RJ on Dec 20, 2017 04:02 PM

this is the current trend among writers on current affairs-- to glorify the election of RG as the Congress President and to forcibly project a very happy and vibrant picture of the Grand Old party post this election. this change of guard will in no way strengthen the party, so dont feel so joyous, and dont feel that sudden spring in your trot to compare him with the PM. Actually, its a sacred task taken up by some such writers, but it cuts no impression with the public mind. TRG is miles and miles behind even Amit shah as a political leader who carries charisma, let alone someone who commands allegiance. Like they are using these words like Hindutwa storm-troopers, alas, no amount of storm or para trooping for RG will get you anything

NaMo
by chakravarthy v on Dec 20, 2017 11:02 AM

No one can match NaMo. His vision and mission are his strength. I strongly feel that political leadership has gone sea change after Modi came to the forefront.

Minority appeasement, caste politics have taken back seat. Sab ke sath sab ke Vikas is the slogan.

Irrespective of the political back ground , if the person has the growth mindset , people will support.

comparison between Modi Jee and Rahul Gandhi
by ashok on Dec 20, 2017 06:46 AM  | Hide replies

Wrong comparison . How we can compare? Rahul is party president and we should compare with Amit Shah not Modi Jee. Moji is our prime minister and Rahul does not hold any position and ever hold such position in his political life.
