by Jobi joy on Dec 20, 2017 12:25 PM

Its alarming for people of India & sign of anyone can still divide the nation & rule, the way congress had plotted dailt video viral & reservation to burn Gujarat past 2.5 years & succeeded in getting 16 plus seats.

Caste based and religion based politics do not add to stature, this game was played by congress from the last 70 years;

Unless Congress and Rahul become sensible
by Jayaprakash Balan on Dec 19, 2017 10:33 AM

Unless Congress especially Rahul become sensible and understand the game of politics as well work hard honestly for the common people to gain mass support forgetting his dynasty, they will not be able to match the level of Modi and BJP because BJP has already got hold of 75% of India and it will not be easy to even give the tough fight. Congress should shed his minority appeasement image which is anti-Hindu and think of India as a whole and have a clear roadmap and strong measures to tackle the most important points, i.e farmers, unemployment, business, price rise, corruption etc. alongwith other things. The biggest drawback is Congress party and Rahul is not accepting the fact that old times are over and India is not a slave of Congress anymore. India has a good alternative in BJP. They should come out of the arrogance that India's poor people are their slaves whatever they do. Things have changed and even the poorest person is aware of things thanks to mobile and social media. Congress cannot survive on anti-Modi and communalism factor. Its a shame Rahul inspite of being educated and young has to tread the path which senior politicians of all parties are indulging anti-Modi and communalism. He has got a wonderful chance now, the first is to revamp his party, make a team of young dynamic people like Sachin Pilot, Madhavrao Scindia, Milind Deora and find young strong popular young leaders in each state who are not selfish and uncorrupt.

Neither the BJP

nor the Congress has really gained in stature.

The two parties have just demonstrated once again that most Gujarati commoners, like their counterparts in most of the other states, remain too stuxpid to understand why they remain so poor and suffer from some of the worst human development indices in the world !

Abe ever stinking dirty komaaaaaaaaaali, you are also a totally useless, jobless kadka person and dont think yourself superior to others. Abe kalumal, you need not worry about Gujaratis who very well know what they have to do. Better you just mind your business and continue your nonstop nonsense with bias mindset as per your habit free of cost at Rediff.

We wash well and bathe twice a day here in Kerala, thanks to being blessed with an abundant supply of water and thanks to each of us having access to functional toilets with running water !

The same cannot be said about north Indians and Gujaratis, right ?

All one has to do to know this is to take a good look at the census survey reports, rural development reports, NSSO data, UN development reports, etc, right ?

Oh, forget it. You may never have even heard of such reports or surveys, right ?

Congress improved on its 2012 tally in Gujarat
by ashok on Dec 19, 2017 07:37 AM  | Hide replies

congress has lost not gained. In 2012 congress fought without the support of hardik,aplesh and jagnesh .These person voted against the BJB not for the congress. Hence if congress fight alone than there tally may not touch to 10 seats.2R472

Not only that, bold decision on GST and demonetization also had some impact. Still getting 50% mandate is good for BJP.
