Black shark is the an ultimate weapon. It has the power to come back to the target many times even if it misses once. it was manufactured by WASS & not by Finmeccanica. WASS was taken over by Finmeccanica & unfortunately Finmeccanica got black listed and WASS too..

Seems to be batting for a particular Italian company. Government has already floated tenders . Dont worry. The submarine will soon be armed. Till then the old ones are more than enough.

It's always better to look at one's weaknesses honestly and get them corrected. Ever since Finmeccanica got blacklisted a year ago, everyone knew that our source for heavy torpedoes is gone. Shukla is doing a good job in alerting the lay public to important lacunae in our preparedness.
Only such pieces will goad our lazy bureaucracy into action.

you think the bureaucracy goes through this_crap? if the intentions of the author_and_the_publisher were good they should have submitted this report to the defence ministry and not put up in public_domain.
The defence ministry, on August 26, 2014, banned all new contracts with Finmeccanica group companies....is this the reason for writing the article...Mr Ajai Shukla

He is merely pointing out lacunae in our preparedness. It is good that the public also knows about these, and what actions need to be taken to rectify shortages. Such articles will at least goad our lazy Babus into corrective action.

Very true. Ajay Shukla who deserted the army & became a media person with Manish Tewari's blessings stand exposed. Is he one of the middlemen in our defence deals of yeteryears?
